Skid, I'm running a similar black headlight on my 07. It was the first thing I changed when I got the bike late summer 06. I got mine from jp cycles and I'm pretty sure it was cheaper. Mine doesn't have that "hood" hanging over the top like the eBay one though. Either way I thing that style looks great on a dyna. More aggressive than the stock one. I put an extra bright blue bulb in it at the same time, made a world of difference on seeing at night. I also got that fro jp. Good luck man !

Thanks for the input guys, and for the guys who don't like it that is totally cool, I asked what you thought and you told me, everyone has their own taste which is great otherwise we would all have the same looking bike. This post helped as I think I will go with the gloss black light, I thought the flat would look good being that most of the engine is wrinkle black, but I think the gloss will pop a little more up on the polished trees.

ABSOLUTELY!!! It's YOUR bike and if you like it, do it! I've found in over 45 years of riding, that there are always gonna be people that LOVE what you did to your bike, and people who HATE what you did to your bike. So I learned to just do what I liked............ and have been happy with that decision!
