ALWAYS check part numbers, took all of 30 seconds to go to HD's site and search the number. We all make mistakes, but you could have easily prevented this one.

 

The Street Bob didn't change after 2010, so if it fit a 2010 it will fit an '11 or '12. The part number listed on e-bay can't be found doing a search on HD. I got the second part number listed in the thread for mine:



It was a pain to get on the first time for sure. The picture in the e-bay link looks like the same pillion.

 

Re-sell it on Ebay.

Guys, your way off here, bottom line is the posting said 2006 and up and this was not the case. Ya, the OP did not look, but the description said it was 2006 and up..

An easy resolution. First contact the seller and just let him know, chances are he did not know and will refund your money (if he is a decent seller).

If he will not, just file a claim with PayPal and get your money back. I have done this before, an easy process but it does take some time. It is not a big deal at all..

 

It is for an 06-up, seller just left off the part about 10's and newer are different, The part number ends in 06 which means it is for 06 and newer.
The OP already posted the seller will take it back.
