Is the mount the only problem? Could this set up work if a mount was possiable I mean as far as performance
Hi blueangel73,
You have come up with a great rendition of a crossover set of pipes for the Dyna Models. Samson has considered making the true dual crossovers for the Dyna models but we are having an issue with the left side muffler mounting that will not fail under severe riding conditions. We will keep you all posted when we do come up with a proper left side muffler mount.
Thank you,
JR

Duals have been solved
Forgot about this thread, this was solved and I have put about 15k miles on it with no issues.
If you look closely, you can see where the 2009 FLHT exhaust has been stretched 3 inches in the collector.
Exits on the left side while still being higher than the transmission bash plate
Created this bracket to support the mufflers. No connection to fender or saddlebags
The first picture shows an aluminum cross-pipe between the mufflers but behind the tire. This was added when installing the fishtails and created a "Box" around the rear tire that stiffened everything up into one complete unit connected to the motor only.
