blueangel hit the nail on the head for me....I'm going for sorta an old gasser or lowrider look....slammed in the rear, high in the front, mine will be slammed (already did that and I have a 23 inch seat height) with 20 inch apes...I just want a set of duals to complete the look...

there is no room to run it like that, flat out... your other option is to remove the battery and fuse box run it over and down, then relocate the rest of the crap

Is the mount the only problem? Could this set up work if a mount was possiable I mean as far as performance

We will keep you all posted when we do come up with a proper left side muffler mount.
Thank you,

Default Duals have been solved

Forgot about this thread, this was solved and I have put about 15k miles on it with no issues.

If you look closely, you can see where the 2009 FLHT exhaust has been stretched 3 inches in the collector.

Exits on the left side while still being higher than the transmission bash plate

Created this bracket to support the mufflers. No connection to fender or saddlebags

The first picture shows an aluminum cross-pipe between the mufflers but behind the tire. This was added when installing the fishtails and created a "Box" around the rear tire that stiffened everything up into one complete unit connected to the motor only.

Anyone know why?
Maybe because they would not sell.

Even though I put a lot of work into the exhaust, it really only works if you are going for a retro look, like a 1958-84 FLH clone. Dynas are great bikes for building into that look and they really drive nice with 16 inch wheels.
