I like the look but I think that the primary already adds enough bulk to the left side of the bike. having the exhaust stacked on the right side is a good balance IMO.

Excellent work there. I'd buy those in a minute.

'Course, I'd want small fishtails...

BTW, I think Samson would be a good prospect to build these.

I'm no expert on the subject, but i remember reading something about needing to keep the pipes relatively the same length for performance. straightened out that front pipe would be nearly twice the length of the rear. it would be the equivalent of running one normal pipe, and one drag pipe. you'd never do that, so why this?

Not sure, but from the photo it looks like doing true duals might put your rear disc out of round.

Been there, done that, tried....failed. I could not come up with a support for the left side. Not saying some one won't but without all the saddlebag brackets and supports the baggers have, or a solid mounted motor that the Softails have... I just don't see a viable system. I hope I am proved wrong. I have actually considered selling my Dyna for no other reason than I want a bike with a nice long set of dual sided cholos.

While I am not positive, I do think it can be done. If anyone has a Dyna and/or a set of head pipes they would like to store at my shop in Spokane this winter and allow me to test fit, I think I can fabricate a set and a mount. Willing to give it a shot.
This is the tough part about my shop being clear across the country.

also, to get the two pipes to be level with each other with a setup like in the OP it would need some extra and probably ugly bends on the left pipe. just leave double sided duals to the baggers.

looking at the left rear side of a dyna... and given where the belt and belt guard are located and the lack of space in that area.. and the lack of space between the rear jug and the area around the coil/ fuse box (and the heat the pipe would generate all over) I just gont know how it would be feasable.. even thou if that could be worked out.. it may look kinda cool..

Forum member U-234 was test fitting this 2009 touring exhaust but decided to go no further. I have the same unit and I think with one bend in the front pipe, 2 cuts in the rear pipe and a little lengthening to the collector, this should fit. Since I have a 2010 Roadking fender, I can use the bracket at the bottom to create a muffler hanger between it and the saddlebag bracket. Rubber isolated of course. One of my winter projects.
