Default Installing Ape's

I just got a 2012 FXDWG. I am installing my exhaust right now and figure i could do research before buying ape's for it. I am looking to install 14 or 15 in ape on my bike and I was wondering what size risers you guys would recommand.

1" or 1 1/2" risers. any taller then that and it looks like you did not plan it out and should have gone with taller bars IMO. check local laws also some states your hands cant be any higher then your shoulders.

everyones opinion will vary... But I agree with Macbean, taller bars need short risers, and as for pull back risers, imo, get straights and use your bars to adjust the pull back that makes you comfortable.
again, jmo...

The one thing I will say is be aware of width at the bottom nothing looks worse than apes that are wider at the bottom than the trees.
