Ok so I'm almost at 2k I'll keep riding with you in mind Loving it. I work 3am my neighbors would hate anything louder so I'll leave exhaust alone for now. Got a backrest, Oh what help that is. Appreciate your service as all have said keep your head down let us know when you want to go for a ride!! I retired in 02..... Good LUCK

Thanks to you all for the kind words. I apologize for the late reply, be kinda busy around here. To answer your question yes I bought it in black. Red and the silver look good, but I'm just a big fan of black bikes, gloss or flat. I do like the look of it. I'll keep on the look out for mods when they come and I will add some photos here when I ride'er home.

I picked up my Switchback last weekend and got my 500 miles on in some cold weather here in New York.
I love the bike. Great ride, nicely balanced and now that the engine is basically broken in I can see what she can do on the road.
Got it in black and can't wait to change the pipe. I thought I went deaf after leaving the dealership on my way home after being on my sportster with the Vance and Hines pipes.

Congratulations and thank you for your service. Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran myself. I have a black one and I just rode 1,100 miles this past weekend for the Lone Star Rally. Waiting for the Vance and Hines Slip-On.

 

nice bike for sure be diligent and thank you for your service. Think that is the best all around bike great for 200 mile day rides and will work well on a long haul.
