Welcome to the fold!!
tons of fun to be had. I had an 06 bob but traded it due to maintenance issues.

Keep an eye or should I say ear out for a wobbling sound inside the primary case. 06 dynas are notorious for premature inner primary bearing failures due to no alignment dowels on inner case. it was fixed in 07. The rotor on your charging system also is a weak design. Its a 2 peice design held together with screws that can back out and hit your stator. That was also fixed later with a welded 1 peice rotor design.
Dont want to bring you down but you deserve to know/ be informed.

I always loved that blue in the sun. Takes things slow with the first street bike and remember; that bike is not your friend, it wants to get on top of you. Keep that in mind and watch out for others and you should continue having a blast with it. Congradulations!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the bike. I almost made a deal on one in that color. Good advice from billybobber on the IPB and rotor. It wouldn't hurt to check them out, a lot of IPB's were replaced under goodwill warranty by HD so yours may have been done already.
