Romeo where you able to find the switch at a local shop or did you have to order it from the website.

Sorry I missed your post and didn't reply sooner:

You can't use the same push button that's used for the speedo. It's a momentary contact push button that is only 'on' when you hold it in. The only place I found to get a push-on/push-off version of the switch was from a company online called All Electronics Corporation. Their catalog number for it is PB-21. Cost is $1.85. They also sell the rubber boot that goes over it, catalog number WPC-2 for $0.30. But it's not as good as the one you can get from the dealer for $1 or $2.

Note: This switch is only rated for 3 amps max, so you can't use it with regular incandescent auxiliary lamps. It's only good for small lights or LED type lighting.

great job and the amount of light difference to the side
is really nice.
