Anyone know if it is possible to get the 07 "Super Glide" script battery cover band yet?
I think they are real sharp looking. I would like to put one on my 06.

 

Well its not in the new catalog but I bet if you go to your dealer and have him look on the detailed parts book for the 07 Superglide Custom that you will be able to get a part number for it. Thats what I had to do when I decided to put the 07 CVO Dyna bars and gauge setup on my 06 Superglide. It does look pretty good,... I like it better than the one that I just bought.

I went to the dealer last week to order this band for my 06 FXDC and changed my mind when he told me the price. Over 70 bucks! I ordered a Harley script band instead.

 

Stopped by the dealer's last evening to pick up the owners manual for my 06.
Bought the new Dyna on Oct. 25, I finally got the call yesterday Nov. 20th that it was now in, (and I had to come in and pick it up.)
O yes my survey will reflect this.

Anyway just had to walk around and check out all the bikes on the sales floor. (nothing but 07’s now)
Not one of the 07 Dyna’s had the "Super Glide" script battery cover band on it. And they had every Dyna model there. So I am not sure what is up with that. Guess I should have asked but was not in the mood to talk to them about anything right now.

I believe it is standard only on the 07 Custom.

 

As it was on mine. Try to catch somebody who's changing this out for a hyperchromed cover and maybe it'll be had for cheap...after a while.
