So I'm thinking of getting a s&s teardrop aircleaner on my bob just wondering if anyone is using one? Like the cones but not for me and I'm trying to keep it classic looking.

 

yes, using one on my 2011 super glide custom. with a k&n filter. external breather's.
quality chrome and fit. perform's well.
i agree, keep it classic. not a fan of cone's neither.
i also have s&s taper turbo slip on's and a thundermax with a/t.
grumpy.

 

Have one on my 2006 ultra and love it. Old school yet functions as a well made S&S product.

Fitted one yesterday, funnily enough. Used the S&S 17-0450 kit.

Went on a dream and works lovely. Quality piece of kit. One of the best things for me is that because of the cone design inside it sits back towards the engine a little and so gives extra leg room - very useful on a Fat Bob.

There's a powder-coated black cover available too that I have on order.

do you know of a replacement air filter for the stock A/C that would give similar results in increased air flow ,
