Default Powder coating?...........

This is the second time i have had powder coating done to my bike and the second time i am disappointed in the result. Im an f'n neat freak but i dont think its too much to ask that the painted parts look flawless without buff scratches/nicks/raised bumps throughout. my question is to the people who have had powder done. was it perfect or did it look like **** in direct sunlight? thanks for any feedback. and yes im taking my bike back to have them redo it.

Had my wheels done in matte black by Powder Pros. I could find nothing wrong with them. Here's a link to the post with my wheels. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/vendo...ml#post8740088

Scroll down to the last pic. It is the best shot. These wheels were far from being perfect when I sent them to PowderPros. Those guys did a hell of a job prepping them for the powder.

Forum member JRK5892 is the one who did the work. Look him up. I'm sure he can answer any ?s you have.

+1 I hear JRK does great work. Plan to have him do some parts for me eventually.

I just bought some gloss black trees that were powder coated and they look flawless. Only way you can tell they were painted and not factory black is the over spray in the fork holes that you don't see anyway unless they're not on the bike.

On a side note, what spoked wheel are you running on the back of your Fat Bob? Is that a 16 or a 17?
