Default What is your fuel Range on your EFI 96ci Dyna's?

Just wondering how many KM's or miles guys are squeezing out of a full tank on a fuel injected 96ci Dyna?

I get around 200 miles to a tank but I feel that I should be getting more. Not sure what that translates to in KM...

I am averaging between 140-150 miles around town before the fuel light comes on, however I do ride fairly aggresive most of the time, could probably get more MPGs if I stayed out of the throttle a little bit.

Since my tune, my light comes on around 145, when the computer says I have about 26-27 miles to go before I am out of gas and it counts down until it eventually just reads "Lo" as I found out last week. I went quite a bit further than what the computer calculation allowed... 199.7

I ride an `11 FXDC with SE stage 1 A/C, Big Radius, and SERT, I was curious to see how far it would go after the tune, as expected my mpg has fallen since tune, so I strapped 1/2 gallon of 93 octane on and proceeded to ride it around the city, like the energizer bunny it just kept going and going. I was actually heading home thinking it might not reach empty that night when it began to sputter on the street right behind me, at which point I shut it down.

I know I risked sucking dirt and crap from the dregs of the tank, and probably did a little, but my bike, my risk. That tank was probably a 50/50 mix of highway and city riding.

BTW I put the half gallon from the small container and then another 4.5 from the one I left in my garage. So a full five gallons will go back in if you ever run as low as I did..

Happy riding,
David

2009 Superglide,
Checked it yesterday, all highway miles, 55 to 70 mph, 49.4 Miles per gallon, 250 miles tank or 400km.
Beautiful fall day for a ride in Minnesota where our days are numbered.

It depends on the riding. Highway, I can get about 200 but most of my riding is around town so I only get between 130-140.

35 - 39 miles per gallon

5.1 gallon tank

178 to 199 miles on a tank but it doesn't matter because I'm looking for gas well before that.
