Most of you keep talking about a 5 gallon tank, which it's supposed to be, but i ran mine empty and could only get 3.8 back into it before it spilled over the lip. I just figured it was because of the fuel pump.

 

2011 FXDC 1300 miles so far.
Here are some of my MPGs.
40.3, 42.9, 41.8, 45.3, 38, 47.3.
Combined city/hwy/mountain.
I love the miles remaining gauge. I find it to be very accurate.
The highest I got on a fillup was around 230mi I believe.

 

I get about 330 km on highway doing about 120-140 kph. Used to get better mileage when it ran lean, but added the PCIII and richened it up a bit to run cooler.

 

220 on a tank until sputtering from fuel loss before the tank lift.

175 on a tank until sputtering from fuel loss after the tank lift.


I think I'm gonna put the tank back down when I get home from work in three weeks.

 

On the highway: About 150miles before the fuel light goes on, then @25 on the reserve just so i don't risk getting stranded...
I do ride it very aggressivley in the city and 75-80mph/120-130kph on the highway. It's also runnin' rich with the tune I got from Fuel Moto for my Power Vision.. But it feels GREAT when you grab a handful of throttle!!!!!!!!

 

45-50 MPG on the hwy at 80MPH all day long. Up higher in the mountains I get about 41-45 MPG when I get up in elevation. get 180-200 miles from a tank with no problems. I usually only ride about 120 - 150 miles before I stop . Get coffee, water etc. Keeps me fresher on the road.

 

I think both of us got the worst miles per gallon lol

 

Light comes on around 140 but I have gone over 200 on a tank. I like to fill up around 180 to 200 depending where Im at. If I fill up as soon as light comes on it only takes about 3.5.
