Default My fuel mileage must be better than I thougth

My Fat Bob gets 220-230 on a tank. I look for gas when I have 100 miles to empty. I do zero in town riding. Mostly 70-75 mph on the highway. Guess I'm doing pretty well

When I'm confident a fueling station of good gas is available, I'll go about 175 miles before seeking a re-fueling. That's a little before the trouble light would prompt me. On long hauls I average about 45 miles per gallon. I go as fast as I can without getting ticketed. Sometimes sustained 75 to 80 mph on the highway.

Does anyone else have a problem keeping the Dyna in legal speed limits? Mine just seems to run so much better once you break the law. Just smoother with an exciting engine response.
