Default Got a new 2011 today no pix yet sorry

So I bought a new 2011 super glide custom today and thought I'd share the experience with you and try to make it short - oh and will post picture very soon. It's root beer color and man it looks good ... And rides very good but I have some questions....of course

Dealt with Shenandoah HD in Va and the were top notch in every respect. They gave me a fair deal on my trade and got a terrific bike ...

I wanted to ask, how many of you have a 2011 and can tell me how you like it?

Mine was a little rough on the way home and I figured that since this was a spanking new bike that this will smooth out after time.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

COngrats on the new ride,I bought mine in April and I love it,can't get enough. The bike will get better with the more miles that you put on it.Wait til you do exhaust and intake, that will wake it up also, plus all the mods that you can do,have fun and be safe.

Mike.

Bought my 2011 FXDC (Root Beer color) in March.

Ran smooth as silk from day one.

Runs much cooler since I did the Stage 1 upgrade (SE A/C & V&H slip-ons).

I love everything about this bike.

Congrats!

Hi Robert.....can you elaborate on the "little rough" part please?
Rough riding or rough running?....

I am picking up a new 2011 SuperGlide from a dealer in Arizona and then riding it to my son's place in Las Vegas and then back to my daughters house in San Diego.....and eventually home to Mexico....700 miles below the border at San Diego.

Thanks and congratulations

i traded in a '99 FXD on a '11 FXDC and I love it. Looks perfect right out the door. Watch out for that 6th gear though it would be easy to get a speeding ticket.

Just a little vibe in the mirrors at almost every speed and gear and some buzzing in my feet that came and went.

I figure that since I came from a sporty that I'm mor in tune to that and I need to let this break in more before calling it a problem. After all I bought it with 8 miles on it.

Great choice and Congrats! I love the FXDC's. Enjoy it and ride safe! I added a SE Stage 1, V&H FuelPak and V&H slash cut slip ons to mine - love the changes and love the bike! My favorite Dyna for sure!
