Default Thunderheader questions!

I really really like the thunderheaders but I hate the look of them on the Dyna. I dont like the way they point up in the air. Has anybody put a softail thunderheader on a dyna? I just think it would look better being straight instead of a big swoop. I know I would probably have to make some brackets to put the softail one on but I was just seeing if anybody has ever done it before I start.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I guess the longer rear shocks you have the more up sweep the Thunderheader appears to have.I have no problem with that I hate the way the end looks.I think it'd look even better with a radical upsweep but that would totally kill your ability to run saddle bags.Notice with the 11" shocks in my sig pic it looks totally level.

The pipe is level. It's just an illusion of it having an upsweep.

You could always modify the pipe like Venturaoutfit.

The more upsweep the better in my opinion. As stated, low shocks will make it look level.

Venturaoutfit's pipe is the shi*!!!

My pipe has a lot of upsweep and is twisted. But I think it looks good amd it never drags on the ground.

Yeah. I used a softail t header on my dyna. Works great. I took half a t header bracket and cut up the back end. Easy

I put an old Softtail TH on my Dyna. I had to make my own bracket out some scraps laying around the shop. I cut mine and purposely gave it upsweep so it wouldn't drag.
