You don't need to do anything to you own bike. However, if you want those other bits to actually do something then you need to let some more air in.

yep, what Fox said...
Tune and pipes is great, you will have sound and the tune will let the bike run better, but to feel the full effect you need to let it breath.

The Fuelpak was made to be used with a high flow intake, but you can use the stock one. It will run richer (not a bad thing seeing how lean the factory setup is), however I don't see how there will be any increase in performance.

do you have to have it.... No
But to get the full benefits of the exhaust & fuel pack an a/c would be a worthwhile investment

You've already spent a chunk of change and for 100 more you can get the intake upgrade so you don't need to, but why wouldn't you?

As all have said to get the full performance yes, but technically no. But you don't need an aftermarket air intake you can simply replace the stock filter with a k&n filter or something more freeflowing than than the stock filter and that will help as well, maybe not quite as much as the whole intake changeout however if your looking to cut corners to save $$

For the type of riding most of us do I really don't think the high flow air cleaners do much more than change the looks. If you go WOT alot then it would make a difference.

I agree. However, I also recommend riding WOT as much as possible.
