RE: anyone know how to get left grip off
I recently installed a new set of grips and the instructions that came with them said to cut the old grip off with a knife. In my case, I was able to just twist it off. I would think perhaps a hair blowdryer would help. Don't know though. good luck.

Stock grips are about $10 for the pair.

Just slice it along its length with a sharp knife, peel it off, and clean the old adhesive off with white spirit before fitting the new grip.

I took my grips of with compressed air, when I changed my handle bars. Just blow air under the grip and it will slide of easily.

Soooo... how do you get the right grip off?
I'm about to change my bars, too.

remove the switch housings, loosen the throttle jam nuts and release pressure on the lines, remove the lines from the right grip (watch those little ferrules), the grip should just slide off....

My buddy changed his bars a few months ago and has Iso grips. Pretty much just twist and pull until it gives.
