Default I want to remove my passenger peg brackets but have a problem

My wife doesn't ride, and I have a solo seat on my 2007 Dyna Street Bob, so I am wanting to take off the entire bracket for the passenger pegs, the one side is not a problem at all, but on the belt side the belt guard attaches to this bracket, is there a replacement piece that I can buy so that the belt guard can be secured again? Hope that makes sense, thanks for the help.

HD sells a bracket to do exactly what you want...sorry that I don't have the part number handy, but you can look it up online or ask your parts guy.

Ya I suppose I can just take the guard off, I guess it depends on how much the stealership will charge me for that bracket. Thanks guys.

Bracket, beltguard pn: 49216-06. Someone one on the Forum probably has one if they put Passenger peg brackets on their Superglide or Street Bob.

You need the bracket that was originally on your Street Bob (Street Bobs don't come stock with passenger pegs). Or you can do what a lot of us do and ditch the belt guard.
