170 rear on an 07 wide glide?
I need new tires, gonna put metzlers on it, but I see metzler sells the stock size (160/70 R17) and a 170/60 R17. Not sure how to calculate the second number.
Has anyone put this 170/60 tire on a 2007 to 2009 wide glide? Would it fit?
Already done a couple searches, no luck. I called the Harley shop and the guy started talking about sportbike tires and whatnot, then tried to sell me stock size dunlop, basically no help at all.
Let me know what you guys think.

Bucknasty... The second number represents the percent of the tire width the sidewall is high. the sidewall is 60% of 170 mm. (Aspect ratio) By the way... that Metzler 170- 60R-17 should fit your WG just fine, I've been running the ME880's on my '06 SG for about 5 years now. No complaints! If you're running Bias belted now, you'll get a little bonus. The Radial will eliminate that "Butt wiggle" you experiance when changing lanes at speed out on the interstate and, you may get some extra miles between changes.
Speedo should stay about dead-on.
Hope this help ya out..... Best wishes, Tim
