Nice ... I was out riding ... actually, I was 'laying low' trying to ride out Hurricane Irene ... worst effect for me was water intrusion in my saddlebags (about a half-inch to an inch in the bottom of each of my hard bags) ....
Looks great! I just put the 430's on my bike, hell of an improvement! Also put the Progressive HD springs in the forks, and added the polyurethane bushings. I cannot believe the ride!

Ok, so i have only ridden 2 HD's, and i guess I don't know the feeling of new springs and such in the forks. how different is it? 430's huh? what length? looking to lower the ride a little without sacrificing the ability to have a passenger. any suggestions?

I stayed with the 12" in the rear, and did not lower the front. Bike used to feel every bump, handlebars would have a slight buzzing sensation, rides real smooth now, especially at the highway speeds. I didn't want to lower the rear because I have the 180 Metz on there and there isn't alot of room.

you think since my wg came 180 stock, i can go lower? i believe i got some more room in there. but you think the 430's are worth it over the 412?

I think you could go lower with the fender set up you have, you may want to ask some of the WG riders, I'm sure they could lead you right. Not sure about the 412's, from what I've heard, the 430's are a better shock, but the 440's are even better than the 430's. Have to think any are a step up from stock though.
