I had been noticing little marks on the front of my gas tank with the denim black but had gloss black for years and it shows everything (swirl marks especially). I think the denim holds up pretty well. I have just been using the cleaner harley sells for the denim black and when I clean it the small marks just kind of disappear. I think its better than gloss even though I love how gloss black looks. Gloss orange looks pretty cool too and I dont see a lot of gloss orange streetbobs running around so it would be pretty original.

Do they make an orange denim? Would love to see that. I had a black denim bike and only used windex on it for a year and it still looked brand new. Vivid black looks great but it does require some work. There are different products that eliminate swirl marks on vivid bikes. I use turtle wax black box and it always brings the finish back to like new.
