So does anyone know of a good set with bars prewires and cable kit package for 18" with a base width of 11" or less?? Looking to put a set on my Street Bob, and the triples are 11" wide, had a line on a full kit setup from Country Custom Cycle, online for around $595, but the base width is too wide.

Let me know what you guys find.

I had looked at those when I bought mine. If you look on the website, you'll see 18" narrow, but not offered in the package. I called them up told them I wanted the same thing you looked at, but substitue the narrows. Price was the same. They really turned out nice too.

Not sure if it's because I just joined or not, but when guys don't use a web host for there pictures I can't see them (when downloaded through this site) I will have to call Country Customs and see if they can do that for me as well, I have to call them about shipping anyway as I'm way up here in Canada.

I would like to put narrow 12s or even 10s on my fxdx but id like to find knurled ones. Not sure if the river clamp width is different on those older ones like mine or not though. KEC_FXDX I have the same bike and am struggling between apes and z bars too. If you do yours post some pics.

Default comfort compared to stock

are the twelves more comfortable than the stock bars ? I am finding myself stretching forward about an inch too much for my comfort.

+1 on using bars that match the triple trees. Wide bars (wide at the base) don't look right on something like a streetbob. IMO only. your bike and your choice. Lots of really cool choices for bars for the dynas. Post some pics when you get them changed out and good luck finding something you like.

I think narrow looks better, but I want a set that are exactly like my stock street bob bars, just taller. The closest I've found, are the burly narrow apes, but the width at the bottom is just a little too narrow. They look great on a sporty, but just a tad off on a dyna. Harley's got a ape/riser set now, that is 16", but haven't had the chance to see them in person.

I would agree with it depends on the size of the trees! Dyna i would go narrow. On a Fatboy or road king go wide!
