Default 21x2.15

Just ordered it today. Should be here by friday and get laced by next week. I hope it works. I was going to powder everything black but I'm going to stay chrome.

I'll let you know for sure very soon. My 21x2.15 is at the shop getting laced up to the stock hub as we speak, possibly picking it up this afternoon. Pretty sure it will work out fine. Maybe it won't handle quite as well as the 19"er, but it'll look cool doing it!

Did you use your stock spokes? I think it should handle ok. I hope anyway. Post some results when you get it back.

I honestly don't know. I dropped the wheel off with the stock tire still on it and the 21x2.15 rim. Told him to get it back to me with the new rim and a 90/90 metz on it. If the spokes need to be replaced, so be it, no real added expense there.

Since the bike is sitting up on the lift in my garage with no front wheel on it anyway, I went ahead and painted the lowers with the gloss black appliance epoxy.....that turned out awesome and it was easy. He needs to get that wheel back to me ASAP so that I can put it back together and stop messing with it!

I'm running a 21x2.15 with a 90/90 Metz laced to the stock hub. It handles great.

Did you use your stock 19 inch spokes?

Yes, they are spokes for a 19" wheel but not stock. I originally had my stock 19" rim and hub powder coated black and re-laced with polished stainless spokes. About a year later I decided to bump up to a 21. The shop that did the work originally, Black Bike wheels, laced a 21x2.15 to the stock hub and re-used the polished stainless spokes. They just had to use a different pattern but I'm not sure what it was.

Its the jireh rim. I would thing that the center of the rim would be the same as a 3.5 inch rim. As long as it gets here by friday I should find out by next week.
