The bags are reslly interesting for me as well. its them or the cycle visions baggertail for Dyna setup. Have to see which will be the cheapest option
i inquired at my dealer about the bags, seems they had to order a replacement for a customer that dropped their new fld -was told one bag painted was over 1100.clams

Default FLD support bracket inside fender

Some images showing the support member Todd is referring to. The nuts for the chrome lower hard case support are welded to the bracket:

It looks like the bracket is spot welded to the fender:

Just a note those thinking of the Wyatts floorboard kit. Rene's picture are of the old older style, the 2006 and up the shifter side is different. the mounting bracket for the shifter mounts the frame and not the engine case. I have pictures in my album if anyone once to see them.

Default Install 2007 Low Rider

After reading what you guys have written, and many stops at the dealer to check mounting points and etc. I'm going to give these a whirl on my 2007 Low Rider. Currently I have the stock mid controls on there. Some of the parts are on order, due in tomorrow. I will let you know how this all plays out. I haven't seen anyone put these on the other dyna's yet. It seems they'll fit so far. Fingers crossed. Thank you guys for the information, and the illustrated parts breakdown was greatly appreciated. Saved a lot of hassle at the stealership.

is it just me or are the Switchback bags smaller than the standard FL bags? they appear to be shorter in length.
Although the mounts are similar, and clearly inspired from the detachable stuff, they are just enogh different that it won't work.

The FLD bags are about 75% smaller than the FL bags.
