Thanks for the info! Im guessing a fine tooth blade for cutting metal would be the best choice?
That would work just fine, just get something in the 24 TPI range, it doesn't even have to be bi-metal to cut plexiglass, just get it thin enough to cut the curves, like a scroll blade. Take your time, blow off the dust covering your cut line and just stay inside it a bit. Scroll blades do have a tendency to get a bit crazy VS a wider one, but the wider ones have a tendency to not do curves too well. You can switch blades if you want between the straight cuts and the curves, or just take your time with a scroll blade and watch what it's doing, they don't like to be forced, so keep the tail end of the saw aligned with the curve.
If you start to feel intimidated by the wayward blade, just cut inside the line even more. It just takes a few minutes to later file or grind your way to the intended line.
i have one that i cut to work and do not need any more, all the hardware is powdered gloss blck, 100 bucks if you watn it
Hi Joe, Please check your message box. I haven't heard back from you since 8/26/2011. Per our previous PM's, I'll take the windshield. I just need to know where to send the payment. Thanks.
