Default My First Bike: 2011 Harley Street Bob

About 2 months took the leap, and traded in my car toward a Harley after months of deliberation and anticipation. After putting 1600+ miles on it, I can say I'm in love.

Not in love with all the rain of late we are getting all of a sudden even though it's supposed to be a drought, but if anything it makes me a better rider.

Yeah, stock seat, looking into either getting a 1 up, or a Pad. Thinking about mounting the peg's myself to save some money. New pipes and air filter in the future.

I was thinking about going the Sportster 1200/ Nightster or 48 route, but this Bike felt more right to me.

My main thing that I would like to improve athetically is the Sausage tail light, and I've found it surprising there are very little mod's for it. Actually, I was thinking about making a skull cover for it that will just go over it.

I was thinking about a 48 myself. Still really like them. The nimble handling, comfort for the long ride, 6 spd trans. and 96ci. motor sold me on the streetbob.

Did '08 have the same one as Super Glides? Some complain about the new ('09+) stock seats, I've not had an issue with mine even on long days with many hours in the saddle. I think it's the same seat the new Wide Glide has, but not 100%.

Kuryakyn Warrior Mirrors,Transformer Grips & Zombie Levers, Skull Horn Cover, Willie G. Derby Cover & Clutch Peg, Sissy Bar by Raybowtieman on Ebay, Axel Spikes. Not a bad start, next year engine improvements & exhaust mods.
