Big City Thunder Baffle Install Question

RE: Big City Thunder Baffle Install Question
It's as simple as they say. The only catch is the "removing" of your old baffle. After removing your muffler(s), you'll probably have to forceably hammer the old baffles out somehow. Over time, they become stuck in there and probably won't come out with pliers, fingers, etc. Just be sure you don't damage your mufflers while doing it. I used a hammer handle down the front end of the muffler and hit it a few times with a second hammer to dislodge the original baffle.

RE: Big City Thunder Baffle Install Question
I put BCT baffels in my V&H Big Shots and like Whiffleboy said, getting the old baffles out was a bitch. I ended up spraying good ol' WD40 all over the baffles, and devised a tool that I could "hook" onto the baffle and hammer on the other end. Don't know whether the hammering, the WD 40, or the swearing did it, but they finally came out. The rest of the job was easy!
Good luck! Whatever trouble, I think you'll find it worth the effort.
