I have lost track of all the left hand turners that turn in front of me on a daily basis. Drivers and I use the term loosely seem to have the attitude " he has a bike , he can stop" or they just flat out don't seem to care if you cant. The definition of stopping seems to include smoking your tires and slamming on your brakes .

I agree they need to make penalties for complacent drivers involved in motorcycle accidents much worse. I don't see it ever happening though. Heal up quick and get back on the road.

 

Could be worse I lost my left leg above the knee to an illegal left turn, you dont know what you have until you lose it, keep it right side up,

 

There are plenty of maniacs out there, that's why my wife won't ride with me.
Even professional drivers doing stupid stuff and then the periododic nut who thinks it's funny to come over to your side of the road for fun.
bunch of nuts.
Heal well and get a helmet then wear it.
