For the last week...I've been sicker than crap... Doc.. said I got an early start on the flu... I know you young bucks can fight anything off... But, us OLD WARRIORS need a new trick every now then... Flu can kill.... (OK...I'm off my Soap Box..)...LOL

 

The only time I've gotten a flu shot I got sicker than ****. I'm 24 years old and it will be a long time before I get another.

 

Im with you bestof, dont believe all the crap that the big drug pushers want you to believe. If it was up to them we would all be takeing drugs to wake up, behappy, avoid being to happy, depressed, sad, wife left, dog died. etc etc etc. As far as im concerned they can take all there so called cures and F$#@ OFF.

I get a flu shot every year as I have asthma and allergies. I dont ever get sick from it, and never get the flu... However, the way a flu shot works is that they inject part of the flu into you to make you "immune." Google and it you'll see...

 

I agree, get the flu shot. I got the flu shot every year for I don't know how long and the one year I didn't get it, I was in the bed for a days with the flu. Great riding weather here today in Louisiana, in the 70's and Sunny.

 

anubisss... I used to get them from the gov every year I never got sick... The last two years... I said the hell with it... Won't do that again..

 

I was a guinnea pig for that crap when I was in the Army every year they gave me a shot, every year I got sick.No thanks, I take crap loads of vitamins and take my chances.

 

I felt the same way 2 weeks ago but after a chest x-ray I had the beginning of pneumonia, took a bunch of pills, a week off work and $300 of Harley parts and now I feel better.
Just have to find time now to install the rest of the parts.

They take a guess as to which 1 of millions of strains of flu will be the common strain for the year. I would rather be the one who decides my fate, not some doctor who takes a guess. Flu shots are the opposite of cool!
