Does warranty transfer to second owner within the two year period?

Yes but I am pretty sure there is a transfer fee something like 25$ if I'm not mistaken.

 

cool hope it's still under warranty, not sure what month she bought it....gonna call the dealer today and give them the vin.I'm sure they can tell me. Keeping fingers crossed.

 

Caller the dealer, the bike was a left over bought in april 2010 so I have warranty till april 2 2012 thank God. No transfer fee on factory warranty but $25 if it's an extended warranty. It'll cover them checking it out. If it's the starter it's covered but the batt isn't.

 

Oh and you can add warranty at any time but cheaper if you add before it runs out just so everybody knows.
