Great idea. I almost got a couple of these then held off because of the floppy bag and paint rubbing complaints. Sounds like you have the floppy thing worked out. You having any paint rubbing issues on your fender or struts?

I had to do something it was blowing back and looked like crap going down the road. I dont have any paint rubbing issues yet but only about 2k so far. Nice bags but they need thicker leather on the lid and more straps on the front edge or some other way to keep it from flapping around. Maybe I should send them some pix of what I did.

I don't have no flopping issues, but I went for a ride and looked back and the lid is pulling away from the bag on the leading edge from the wind. I'm just gonna have a heavy snap put up there to snap it down, still I'm happy as a pig in mud, don't have to carry all my chit in my pockets or bungy them down.
The bottom strap is supposed to go around the rear caliper bracket but I was not comfortable with it there, I strun it around the swing arm, seems to be fine there.

Mine also is a little floppy for my taste and my black leather is also fading and thats only after about 1k miles. As of 100 miles or so i cut a pc of 1/4" plywood to the shape of the bag. I inserted it in the bag and put 4 small screws to hold it to the inside of the bag. Made the bag much sturdyer. I am thinking of making anther templete out of plexi glass or something a little more flexible and mounting it to the back of the bag not to mention a snap to the front to hold the bags top a little better. Just wish it was made out of leather that is more than twice as thick.
