Bad day at work Bike was hit!
Ever get that gut feeling that something will go wrong? Well today at work a co worker backed into my bike! She said she never saw it in her mirrors. I came out to what I thought was a cruel joke nope bike dead on the ground. I thought I was going to pass out lol. Overall it's not that bad. Tank took a good hit mirror is toast forks scuffed pipes fine. Her insurance will cover it all we think. It's going into a local Indy tomorrow. I wanted a new tank anyway and maybe now I can get a denim paint job! The real pisser is I was not supposed to work today but came in to save a vacation day ****!

She is a very nice lady who is going through a lot at home. Her mom just died Monday too. It's ok I rode it home. She was crying all day too. I was pissed but did not show it much. I will get it all patched up. Do you think sense it needs new paint all over can't I get any color like a denim? Like I said her insurance will get the bill.

If all the tins need to be painted, then denim should be no more expensive than the gloss you have. Cheaper, I think, but I am not a paint man. Even if it is a little more, you can probably make the difference at the shop that does it. What about the forks? Are they forked up, or just scuffed? Gonna have to be replaced?

The tank needs to be replaced and the rear fender was the first thing she hit so that will at least need new paint too. The front one looked ok from what I could tell. Forks just were scuffed some but there is a new vibration at 55mph now and the bars feel a bit off. There is light scuffs on the air cleaner and small deep cuts on the V2 cone area. Never delt with the shop I'm going to. It's called the HOG Pen Inc.

it looks like the frame is scratched by the neck area from landing on the curb..there is a good chance the bike will be totaled..they wont make any part repairs, only new parts, that includes touch up paint.. you could probably fix it up your self and still walk away with most of the value in cash..the bike would be stuck with a rebuilt salvage title thou
