I had similar damage today. My tank is damaged, mirrors toast and speedometer busted. How much did it cost to get a new tank? Thanks.

 

I had my tank damaged (2010 Fat Bob) and was quoted about $1200 for a painted tank from the dealer. I bought a whole set of tins custom painted for $1200 instead. Now I will be selling my fenders and the dented tank to recoup some of the money.

 

I've been writing letters to my buildings manager for three years now to get motorcycle only parking. This reminds me of again of why I keep asking. With the price of fuel there are 10-20 guys who ride in everyday. My fathers work has nice bike parking with Jersey barriers around it with openings big enough to only let motorcycles in.
