2011 Street Bob - what to look for?

After tax title taxs dealer prep and delivery it is very close to 5k in savings . That is based off MSRP with no price reduction. Financing new from Harley was a littler over 280 a month - I will be paying just shy of 180 on this one.... besides - this is the story for my wife as well so I am sticking to it my friend =)

He isn't even adding back the tax he will pay at the tag office when he rolls in with his title.

I'm not arguing that your price is good bro, I'm arguing that a new, stock Street Bob would cost someone 16k.

The 2012 Street Bob in denim lists for about $13,400, no price increase over the 2011's. If a dealer wants to sell a 2011 he will have to discount it enough to convince someone to buy a leftover that's a year old and already depreciated. Yes, you will have to add freight and set up, but these can be negotiated. Plus, whatever you buy there will be taxes, tags and title costs.

I think you made a heck of a deal! Here in OK, the local dealer had 2 black denim SB's priced in the high 15k range due to a few accessories and no discounts due to the popularity of the bike. I think FL adds a hefty state tax to the price you pay to the dealer. Saving 5k sounds reasonable to me. Well done!

Thats a good deal. I went to the dealer yesterday and they wanted 10500 for my 2011 superglide with 2500miles. I just wanted to see how much my bike was worth after a few months of ownership Definately good deal. I think what most people forget is the tax. Since no one likes to talk about the "TOTAL" price include tax, title, and license. A lot of people here use the purchase price instead of the total.
