Cruise rocks! 2007 and earlier are not tbw, and they have cruise. I would think you'd be able to adapt it.

My FLHT is TBW, the wifes Dyna is cable, and Ive never had a Softtail.

I have no idea why the cruise will work on a Softtail but not a Dyna, same throttle, same engine, same fuel system.

Im guessing that it is a wiring issue.

Some here claim that they have the RK cruise on their Dyna but not one pic or any details have ever been posted.

The cable operated cruise controls are still available, but I dont want to drop the coin unless I know its going to work.

I was just going off the information on Cruise Mounts site. Looking at their site it sure looks like a fairly straight forward install but I'm with you, I wouldn't want to be the guinea pig.
