No, never.
No way!
Not on the Bob.

I like the feeling of the wind on my body.

Besides it would make Bob look like mommies bicycle with a childrens seat in front.

when it rains and also on the highway. I'm not that crazy about bugs and ROCKS hitting my face at 80mph. (my cruising speed). around town and bar hopping, I take it off. oh yeah I don't care what anyone else thinks. I bought the bike for my enjoyment !!

Didn't have one on my Sportster and don't have one on my Bob. Have friends with 'shields on their Bobs and they look horrible{in my opinion} Sportys.Bobs.choppers.just don't make it with windshields.I am 50 years old and the wind doesn't bother me....yet...ask again in a few years.

I just purchased a low profile windshield with quick-detach for the Low Rider. It will be used for SoCal Fwy trips cuz when I get going over 75 mph I don't enjoy the ride as much. Most of my riding will be without just buzzing around town.

My Bob will never Ever see a windshield. Ya it would be nice for a long trip but I believe it distracts from the original look of the bike.
But then again I see pictures of WS's on Bobs and it doesnt look too bad- on THEIR BIKE PhilK im with you and im 45 .... I can see one on a Tourer but not on Dynas-Sportsters...

After owning a Heritage and riding with a windshield, I no longer punish myself riding without one. Yes, you still get the wind in face feel, and you can comfortably ride all day. Windshields,
saddlebags, chrome or black, etc. are all personal preferences, but my main reason for owning a motorcycle is love of riding, not just looking good.
I'll second that. When I was young, I would be cruising on my sportster, no shirt, no helmet, just sunglasses, jeans and boots. Now, I am all about comfort. I could give a rat's a$$ about how someone thinks my bike looks, or how I look on it for that matter. Hell, I even have some of those WWII look-alike leather/chrome goggles because they fit over my glasses. I love my windshield, but take it off sometimes when cruising around town. In winter though, it stays on. Even in south Texas, when it's 40 and you are doing 75, it's cold. Like hdrider02 says, it's personal preference. At least we have that freedom, right?
