I set up power generation and control systems on new drilling rigs. We're working in my town for a change. I'm usually working all over the planet. It's nice sleeping in my own bed every night.

I ride to work everyday unless it's raining in the morning which is seldom in my area. I carry enough stuff to fill both saddle bags since I'm gone for 24 hrs at a time. I love the ride, it's 25 miles one way and the days that I do have to take the truck it's really boring.

I feel ya. Work all over Texas and when I am home I got a honey-do list as long as my arm and it takes an effort to get on the bike and ride. The rat race continues. Nice bike.

My employer moved me from Baton Rouge to Corpus Christi 9 years ago, so that I could service the south Texas oilfields. They then proceeded to have me overstuff my passport with foreign visas for the next 9 years. I finally get to work near my home.

It's a 10 mile drive to work, but it's a 20 mile ride on the bike. I have a nice route that I take when I'm on the bike.
