Seems like it's your best choice. A lot of us went this route. No more wires, just unplug and remove and cap off the hole with a new shinnie bolt.
Is this a route that can be taken to eliminate the dealer out of the picture and save some $$$ ? New to all this EFI stuff ect......

Your dealership sure is making quite a profit just to install new pipes and do a remap. I guess they figure if you can afford one of their motorcycles, you can afford to have them empty your wallet completely by charging outrageous labor charges. If you don't live in a state that requires inspections, I'g go the Power Commander route as suggested and just eliminate the o2 sensors. Plus, if you have an assistant to steady the new exhaust while you're installing it, it's not that difficult to do. By following the instructions and getting advise from the forum, you should have no trouble. Not only will you save some bucks, but you'll get the satisfaction of knowing you did the job yourself. Either way, good luck!
