I bought my RAM mount from them. Shipping was fast, prices are pretty good.

Thanks. Option 1 seems just fine and much cheaper option.

Not at all, the RAM mount, your phone snaps snuggly in place, it will not come out on it's own.

I just got an EZ pass for a trip I"m taking next month. I was going to keep both my nav and the ez pass in my tankbag, but maybe I ought to rethink the handlebar mount idea if you guys are confident in them....

RAM is a trusted brand. And while they are plastic, they are well made and solid. RAM is trusted to secure equipment worth many times more than an iPhone such as high-end marine electronics to military equipment, computers, medical equipment...etc.

I use one of these on my road cycling bike and never had an issue, it is extremely strong and secure. I am thinking about getting one for my Street Bob also.

My only issue isn't really with the Boom Audio pouch (which I have and used). Mine is more with the iPhone quite frankly. Because the phone is laying flat and exposed on the tank, in anything above low 80 degree weather, after a while my phone overheats and shuts down.
