Mustang seat for WG

RE: Mustang seat for WG
Could you give more info on this seat?
Where to get it, Model #, price?
DO you need diffrent mounting hardware than the
stock 2005 FXDWG?
I am sure I could live without the strap
Thanks
I need this because my wife complaines about it on long trips.
The stock seat is fine on short trips but we take long trips sometimes.

The old seat came off pretty easy: I took off my sissybar, then the screw holding the seat onto the rear fender, then rotated the seat around 90 degrees and slipped it out of the strap. I removed the strap, but left the stud it mounted to in the front of the rear fender. The Mustang seat clears the old strap stud with no problem, at least on my bike. The mounting hardware you will need is all included. I locktited (blue) the rear seat bracket to the seat itself, then slipped the seat "catch" under the frame "hook" at the rear of the tank. You'll see what I mean when you look at it. I then locktited the rear seat bolt into the rear fender seat bolt hole.
Obviously, I didn't use the strap, and everyone tells me it is not needed. Wife doesn't use it anyway. The seat felt weird at first, probably because it is so different, but after riding it a few times, it feels great. It's much wider than the stock seat, so when you first come to a stop at a light or something, you can feel it hitting your thighs, but I got used to that quickly. The passenger seat/backrest thing is also a little weird at first, but feels better everytime I ride. I could sit in this seat for a long time, much unlike the stocker. The wife hasn't ridden yet, but she sat on the bike in the garage and said it felt much better.
One other note: this seat pan is very rigid - a good thing because with the stocker, I used to actually rock back and forth when I moved a bit. This seat feels like it's actually part of the bike, and feels very strong. The seat pan is metal and very well built. The stock seat pan is plastic...
Hope this all helps.
