Default Ness fairing installed... 05 FXDXI done!!!

OK all here it is, DONE... been working on it since last oct. Took alot of thinking and even more extra shifts over the winter to pull it off, but heres my take on the HD hot rod. It started off as a stock 05 FXDXI... I know shes not for everyone, but she fits me just fine!! Engine mods under sig pic (hoping for 120HP/120TQ)...

Let me know what ya think...

Nice job. I am still toying with the idea of a ness fairing. I think it will depend on what type of handlebars I end up with. Looks great on your bike.

To be honest i wanted a set of bars from West Coast T bars but i couldnt pull the trigger because of the price. I ended up with 28'' wide 11'' tall tbars on 1.5'' riser extensions, and I love em. I think ya gotta run either drags on huge risers or some kinda tbar for it to look good, but thats just me.

I have to be honest. I didn't think I liked those fairings but I'm starting to turn. I'm starting to dig them. Do they provide much wind protection or is more cosmetic?

Fantastic looking bike! Well done.
