From my personal experience i wouldn't recommend to modify the rake at all.
10 years ago i installed a set of 6 degree rake triple trees on a dyna super glide.
Do the same .... if you like to handle like cr*p past 60mp/h. It's very dangerous to ride with no trail. Very!
According most of the shops, 3 degree is safe but the best answer would be to measure the trail.
Good luck

Accutronix Trees
Yeah, I have the 5° trees on my street bob. They changed the handling on the bike and I need to pull the neck apart. I can no longer tighten the fall away enough to stop the 80-90mph wobble. I changed out the handlebars which helped a lot but it still wobbles a bit every now and then. It has to do with the airflow and the wind that hits me in the chest.
They are really good looking trees and I would hate to part with mine but if I can't work out the wobble, they are outta here.

I have heard (not sure how true it is) that some motorcycle insurance companies will either not insure you and or drop you if (they find out) the trees are 5 deg's or more.
There was a great looking bike at the dealer they sent to auction because of this, again so I was told.
Just say'n something you might want to look into.

It would probably be better to have your frame raked by a professional chassis shop. I use to have a Kawasaki KZ1000(1428cc) drag bike with a raked frame and it was very stable at high speeds 130mph plus.
You might find a wide glide frame on Ebay. You could swap everything over in a weekend easily. Just a idea. Good Luck.
