I'm looking into a '11 Orange Fat Bob and am curious about exhaust options with forward controls. I'm 6'2 with a 32" inseam. I had a set of Jardine Forward Controls with mini's on a VTX 1300 that looked awesome and felt even better. I have looked and no one I can find makes anything similar. I am also concerned about how my leg will feel when riding and being stretched out. I'm one of those idiots that rides in shorts and don't want to cook my leg when stretched out.

Am I worried over nothing or is there some relevant issue with my thought process (yes I know the shorts are a BAD idea, but I'm good with it).

Those look awesome but the website says they do not fit the FXD. Did you have to mod anything or was it just something they didn't include on the website?

 

Here's what I'm running. Not floorboards but pretty comfortable.

 

They fit without any mods, you just don't use the dogbone piece that is included. They weren't a factory replacement, so like a lot of things on my bike, they aren't listed to fit, but they do.
