Default Speedometer Fogging Up

Anybody have trouble with moisture on their Dyna's Speedo or tach? My Lowrider's (06) speedo has been fogging up for a few months. I realize it's SUPPOSE to be a sealed unit but has anyone ever taken one apart and resealed with any luck? Thanks Tim

They all do it. Sun will clear it up, but eventually residue will remain.
They aren't sealed from moisture, just tampering.

You actually got a dealer to say they will replace it?

You are a lucky man.

Hmmmmmm....... I tend to suffer through most of the Dyna woes, but my Speedo (for now) never has shown any signs of moisture being trapped inside.
I ride in the rain, the bike gets washed at the local carwash with high pressure, it gets stored outside in the rain on ocassion (under a cover), and it has 12k miles on it.

I will consider myself a lucky man........ If it does start sweating under the glass, I assure you Harley will replace it, under warranty.

Good luck.
