Default Weird alarm tone gone wrong

I wonder what happened to my alarm system, the sound is lighter, way lighter like it took water, it's barely hearable.
Where is the "trumpet" on a dyna ?
Did anyone had the same problem ?

Are you asking where is the siren located? If so its behind the fuse box. Remove the 2 bolts on top and the one allen key in the center of the fuse box and pull it away. Behind it tucked in a slot you will see it. Looks like the size of a deck of cards.

Same thing happened to mine, water got into the siren while washing the bike. Siren faces up when it is mounted into the electrical box, so it is hard to prevent it from happening again. Mine eventually crapped out so I used a soldering iron to melt away the plastic in the alarm box to gain access to the siren leads to wire in a replacement siren that I mounted upside down.

place your fob 10 or 12 feat away and set off the alarm until the water vibrates out of there and you'll have your siren back.
