Default Carb backfiring and leaking oh my! Pic/vid

Ok guys my WG is giving me trouble. The carb has been backfiring bad as of late and it even burned a hole in the bottom of my air filter! At first I thought it was only dirty so sea foam through the tank and blasted the crap out of it with the sea foam deep creep. Runs smooth at idle but under throtle it will pop and shoot flames out of the carb. Today I notice when the throttle is open gas flows out where my finger is at the black little boot and pin needle thing. Any ideas?

Lol yep I had a look at a carb break down and said oh so that's the accel pump diaphram I have seen others have issues with. I will pull it off tomorrow and have a look. It must be torn bad cause gas was pouring out pretty good. This must be causing my backfiring carb farts.

Ok got a new diaphragm in from HD along with a spring and o ring. Runs better but still get a carb fart flame backfire pop lol. Happens when I give just a small but of throttle. But at idle it's fine and at a lot of throttle it's fine only happens a few times with a small twist of the go stick. The plugs looked dry yet black. Put new plugs in but really did not notice any diff. What next?

If its just started doing it rather than it being a tuning issue then I'd whip off the carb cap and check the big diaphram there. If the accelerator pump one has worn out then there's a good chance the one on the carb top is on the way out too. Look for splits or other wear.

Thanks fox I will have a look there too. Like I said it runs better but almost like it needs just one more new piece to make it run smoother.
