I am thinking of going back to stock pipes on my 04 FXD. Like the staggard look. I currently have a Supertrapp 2to1 and need to know what years of stock pipes fit my bike without a million mods?

Anything for a TC88 or 96 will bolt onto the motor, differences will be the rear mount. That is a fairly easy thing to fabricate or modify.

Parts guy at the dealer should be able to look in his book and tell you what years fit.

Thanks Guys. I have a Bud that has the ones off of his old 07 FXD he sold. Just wondered if they would fit, I am pretty sure they could. Thanks Again.

The pipes will fit no problem. The mounting bracket that bolts to the trans will not bolt to the older trans. I ran into the same issue when I made my pipes you see in my sig pic. The bolt pattern is slightly different. You may be able to use your old one, or you most likely will have to mod it slightly to support the rear of the pipes. Should not be difficult to do at all. My pipes are from an 08 TC96 on my 05 TC88.

Making brackets will not be an issue, I have all the implements of destruction out at the farm to do that. Can even powdercoat them myself. Just recieved an Email from a guy with 10-12 mufflers as well as 4-6 headers pipes wants $120 for the lot. Worth a look any way.
