I'd look for the lowest seat thats still tolerable first before replacing the shocks. The LePera Bare Bones is super low and narrow but lacks much comfort. The Silhouette is low and a bit more comfy. Drag Specialties makes a Predator seat for 04-05 bikes that is pretty bitchin. Deeply scooped, no wider than the framerails and as low as possible without being too harsh. If your inseam is lacking like mine (30in denim) then a narrower seat will let your legs go down in a straighter line next to the bike and help out alot with the fit or "feel" of planting your feet. I went from the stock shocks (13.5in) to Works Trackers in 12.5in. I plant one foot only, never really would plant both feet anyways but I flat foot it with this setup.
